Riding Your Bicycle To Shop Is Not Only Good For Your Well-being But Good For The Environment. By Larry Koonce

Dallas, TX - There is very many we can learn from China economically but the greatest example the Republic has demonstrated happens to be the cost of bicycle riding. of carbon dioxide which motor vehicles make is enormous. The average car within the US burns about 650 gallons of gas, producing eight tons of CO2 total production is 20 tons per person. Consequently fuel economy has increased to 19 mpg, venture has reached 1. 6 trillion miles a year, so adding truck usage we burn 338 million tons of gasoline and 246 million tons of diesel and other fuels each year.

The earth consumption of oil has now increased to 3. 2 billion tons of oil, thus 10 billion tons of CO2 are produced yearly from oil alone. Each person that rides a bicycle rather than drives a car is helping to keep our planet. Our civilization was burning huge quantities of coal, natural gas, oil, and their byproducts, thus pumping carbon dioxide into the ecosystem. Living creatures absorb most of this carbon, but the excess accumulates within the atmosphere.

The result was two a detailed growing season, 3 more warm days, 4 more rain, and 5 greater drying. Predicted but not proven conclusions are: two more frequent violent storms, 3 drought, famine, and the destruction of forests, and 4 the flooding of coastal cities. Of all of our fossil fuel uses, automobile venture is the fewest defendable. But 4 or 4rds regarding the automobile trips within the US are for distances of fewer than ten miles, and over 1/2 are for distances of fewer than 5 miles. By riding my bicycle on errands, to work, for weekend recreation, and on summer vacations, I have greatly reduced auto use, and I have had an improved life.

Fall is a time to take a family bicycle ride around your regional park. Use the cold temperatures and nice fall transitions to really get out and get some wanted exercise on your bike.
